| Oklahoma Deer Recovery is a web page dedicated to promoting the use of leashed tracking dogs for the recovery of wounded deer in Oklahoma. It is currently illegal to use a dog for this in Oklahoma. However, if you call your local Game Warden, he or she may give you permission. Landowner permission is also very important and should also be obtained. I have a Wirehaired Dachshund that is trained for tracking wounded deer. Feel free to call or email me if you need a deer tracked. If you call, be prepared to answer a variety of questions about the circumstances of the wounded deer. I live in the Oklahoma City area. I am willing to drive anywhere if I have the time and I feel the deer is recoverable. I do not charge for my services. I do ask that you reimburse me for gas money. I will also put up the names and numbers of other individuals in Oklahoma who have tracking dogs. If you know of anyone, have them contact me and I will get the information on here.
